As far as your manager...why do people say mean things, and then excuse it by saying...oh, it was a joke, or I was just kidding...give me a break! When will people learn!Wandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06941735389982354519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16745535.post-31683481367840650372007-11-19T09:22:00.000-08:002007-11-19T09:22:00.000-08:00Yes, words said without thinking can hurt. During the time when people are supposed get up and shake hands say hi and to go around and welcome newcomers... A lady walks up to them and says, I wondered why u were here. How welcoming was that? I am so hoping my Dad(who is hard of hearing) didnt hear her, he is cynical enough of Christians. Words said in haste can change a persons perspective of the world. I HOPE I am more upset about this than they are. PEOPLE! Sorry about the rant.Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17740664492528900510noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16745535.post-37525379917294248512007-11-19T07:50:00.000-08:002007-11-19T07:50:00.000-08:00About this time you all should of came down hard o...About this time you all should of came down hard on her and voiced your complaint to her in front of everybody. That should be a requirement from management - especially, if this is an ongoing problem on various levels toward other employees included. Sorry. I think your colleague may actually benefit for having it happen in front of others - they, as you, are taking his side and therefore giving him a protective layer and that is a pretty major 'nice' feeling.Isadorahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15503636172821725779noreply@blogger.com
