It was wonderful!

Yes there were chocolate covered strawberries. Lots of food and even high tea on a saturday afternoon. When I arrived at the retreat on friday evening I was greeted with beautidful smiles,
and women who took my luggage and helped me settle into my room. In the washrooms there was luxurious lotions, soap, kleenex, fragrances and skin care products. It was so wonderful. Every woman that attended felt pampered! I want to take this time to thank all the women who put time into planning the womens retreat. I look forward to next year. I know all the women that attended feels the same way. Our meals were fantastic. ( thanks to Myrna and Art Wiens) Wow. As a working girl it felt so nice to pampered! And the food! What can I say about the food. Man oh man the food was so.......
I can't even describe how wonderful the meals were. Not to have to cook. To every working mom out there I'm sure you can relate. Even if it was peanut butter and jelly , not having to prapare it would have been fantastic. But peanut butter
it was not. We had mini quiche, puff pastries with a mushroom filling, strawberries and chocolate, fruit salad, lasagna and ceasars salad ....... all was fantastic. The fellowship was also wonderful. But sleep? What is that? When at a womens retreat there is not much sleep happening. When you put 60 women together with little sleep , you get a weekend of silly , giddy, sleep deprived girls. It equals lots of silly fantastic fun. I'm so happy that I was in attendance. Look forward to next year!

With all the food you mentioned, I feel I'm hungry. What working mom wouldn't want this pampering. Even for a SAHM this is just a lovely time. Imagine to be eating without having to cook your own meal. That's just a relief.

Sounds nice even if you aren't a working mom, although, as you know, all moms are working moms. I am glad you had this time to focus on just you. M

Yes it was wonderful to be pampered at the retreat. Even if our room mates snored cause I probably did too. So we will all learn to bring the ear plugs or nose tapes to stop the snoring, as we were warned to do. But we are like kids we do not listen.
