I'm sure anyone growing up in the last 40 years has heard of Mr Dressup. For those of you who are from the States, he is the Mr. Rogers equivalent. He had a puppet named Casey who never aged and a dog named Finigan who moved it's mouth and never said anything. He also had a tickle trunk. This is the trunk where imaginary people would come to life. When Mr. Dressup opened up the tickle trunk , all kinds of characters would come to life. As a kid I loved this show. Even my children grew up with Mr. Dressup. When I was a child it was called " Butter Nut Square" Then changed to Mr. Dressup. I'll never forget when I was visiting my brother only a few years back and his neighbor did an imitation of Casey. It went like this. " Mr. Dressup, Mr. Dressup, Finingan pooped on the lawn , and it's steaming" This neighbor of my brothers was so right on with the Casey voice, I laughed so hard. Good old Casey and Finnigan. They never aged. For 30 years Casey was five years old and in kindergarten. In the last few years he must have went off to bording school, cuz he was no longer on the show. Finnigan went with him I'm sure , cuz he to went away . Mr. Dressup has passed away in the last year or two. Same with Mr. Rogers. So sad. Life was so much better with Mr. Dressup. He will be missed. So will Casey and Finnigan.

I loved watching Mr. Dressup when I was growing up. To be honest, if I happen to notice that it's on now, I will watch it for a bit.

Me too, but I must admit it's not the same without Casey and Finnigan.
